At My First Visit, What Will Happen?
Our receptionist will greet you when you come in and ask you to complete a new patient form. You can take a seat in the waiting room. We have a TV to watch and magazines to read until you can be seen. Please note that we make every effort to run on time as we know your time is valuable.
Next, your nurse will bring you into the treatment room where the dentist will greet you and ask you how you’re doing. Our team members care about each patient who walks through our doors and seeks to get to know them on a personal level.
If you have a particular concern, such as a toothache, please let the dentist know. After examining your teeth and mouth and taking a dental x-ray of your tooth, the dentist will diagnose what exactly your problem is and then formulate a plan to fix the problem, including any alternative options that may also be suitable to address your needs. They will discuss each option and the rough costs involved. At Booragoon Family Dental Centre we will always aim to provide you with quality treatment that best fits your individual needs, preferences and budget.
After hearing what the dentist has to say, you can elect to receive treatment on the day. If you require an additional appointment, you can make one with the receptionist. Or they can provide you with a quote for further treatment.
